Personally I am happy for Shankland to finally get the scotland call up, just a little frustrated that Dundee Utd appears to be getting all the credit but in reality who cares. The lad deserves his chance and hopefully gets a hat trick against San Marino.

Congratulations  on his call up to the Scotland squad, I now hope he is let loose on the International scene and gives the Tartan army something to shout about.

I agree Shinglis, if Ayr and McCall hadn't given him the chance to start enjoying his football again then he wouldn't be anywhere near the Scotland squad.

Having the captain as one of his best mates can only be good when he joins up with the squad and hopefully he can show what we've enjoyed seeing over the last two seasons.
