OK All. I have my own ideas about how the site should develop but what features or items would you like to see on the site.

For example I want to try and consolidate all the news & updates, so the site becomes a useful reference for all related AUFC Information, be this from official news, AU Media, Club Shop and from the Academy.

So get involved and let me know your thoughts & ideas and of course if you wish to help in any way, be it generate articles or match reports, generate images etc then please get in touch.

I know it's a minor one, but I wondered about personalised Avatars on the forum?

Most forums have them and they help people feel more involved.

Bonny Story

Instead of this becoming another place to get your AUFC news, why dont you just have a URL feed of the AUMEDIA and Official AUFC Social media sites?

Bigger print when selecting topics and numbers for changing pages for old arthritic fingers. Other than that very happy with it.

Would you prefer a separate sub forum "Ayr United Memories" or something similar ? Alternatively you could just post in the general AUFC area ?
or do you mean a section on the website.. should not be a problem to link up with Ayr Utd Memories Facebook page and share material. (Is Scott on here yet ?)

As for what happened on this day, will investigate accurate sources.. (if any known - please share)

An Ayr United photos page, with maybe a link to the David Sargent page.

A forum that doesn't disappear for weeks on end would be a start.

Ok take that as a little tongue & cheek, as only down time so far was some hours yesterday due to hosting company. Hosting company usually very reliable and informative about any down time.

ayrmad

Not tongue in cheek at all, it was about the last fans forum, we can have the best and funkiest forum on the planet, counts for nowt if it goes the way of THP.

Can't really comment on the final days of the THP and only reason I set this one up because it became clear the THP was not going to re-appear and wanted to ensure a AUFC fans forum existed.

Hopefully over the next few days / weeks you will see a more "funky" setup and enjoy this one just as much, this was a quick get up & running against good advice to maintain some sort of AUFC forum.

Good luck to you, we certainly need somewhere alongside P&B to air our views about Ayr United, I'm quite sure most users will understand there have been and will be teething problems in the early months.

Just a small point but would it be possible to have any new posts to a current string, first instead of having to go to the last page to see what has been posted

You can set this option in your user profile:
Select Profile then summary;
Select Modify Profile - Look & layout
select the option : Show most recent posts at the top.

Any issues just let me know.

Shinglis thanks a lot for your help  :)

It'd probably be a bit of a chore to do, but it would be good to have some player stats like appearances, goals, cards etc for the squad once the season gets going. The official site isn't great at keeping that stuff up to date.
