Ayr United U20s continued their impressive early season form with a 6-0 drubbing of Queen of the South.  The squad for the match included 5 players from Ian McCalls first team.

The match started and just like the previous league match, Ayr started on the front foot and went in front early on.  A Michael Donald corner in the 2nd minute was headed home by Rose and Ayr were 1-0 to the good.  An injury to MacLean Simpson meant Davie White was forced into an early sub and James Hilton replaced the striker.  It was on the 17th minute Ayr doubled their league.  Michael Donald burst through the middle and his strike was saved by the keeper, but unfortunately deflected into the net by a defender to double Ayrs advantage.  And it was 3-0 minutes later, Donald burst through the middle again, slipped the ball wide to the first half sub Hilton, who smashed a shot with his right foot into the top corner and Ayr were 3-0 up after 23 minutes.
