Coming weekend Fixtures :

When are the 20's fixtures out?  Also have they moved into the Elite league with the top teams?
The dream will never die.

Youth Reporter

Fixtures are out , look on Development League West tab on the Scottish Professional Football League website.

I think Ayr 20s still playing in the League with Airdrie , Dumbarton , Morton , Clyde , Queen of the South , Queens Park and Stranraer being the other sides.

Annan have dropped out to be replaced by Stranraer who have put a new squad together at 20s level.

This season each team will play the others 3 times giving 21 league matches.

QuoteDoes naebody tell us the scores these days

Depends which scores you looking for ? Most of the academy teams, the ethos is the score is not important it's all about the development.

The U20's is available via here : http://www.aufa.org.uk/pro-youth/20s-players-2014/20s-fixturesresults/
The U17's here : http://www.aufa.org.uk/17s-fixtures-2015-2016/

The real jolly

Would be good to see regular reports and updates on these two teams from an ayr perspective as these boys will soon be challenging for a place hopefully

Youth Reporter

Jolly - I'm watching Stranraer 20s these days mate  ;) The Ayr United Youth Academy is always looking for volunteers to submit Match Reports to the Academy Website weekly through out the Age Groups. Give them a call , you could be the next Bob Crampsie  :)

The real jolly

Surely it's not too much to ask the various levels to tell us their results on the website FFS.

Youth Reporter

Jolly - when you become an AUFA reporter you are issued with SFA guidelines. From memory the straight recording of scores is prohibited up to u17s . Although a report on the game is allowed at younger levels , which if you read in full , you can work the score out from. My lads have moved on but I know for certain that the Academy wants volunteers for the reports on the website , they are one of the best things about the website that makes it quite vibrant with alot of " hits " , they need volunteers to pick up the baton  ;) Ask not what AUFA can do for you but what can you do for AUFA  :) or something like that . It is quite time consuming but worthwhile as the boys enjoy reading them.

Jolly - AUYA 17s went down 1-0 to Partick Thistle today , only know this because I follow Weir Thistle Youths on Twitter !
